Pokemon Mega Festa 2026 Magikarp Promo Thread And FAQ In an attempt to cut down on all the posts that people have been making about it, I'm going to make a mega thread for the newly-revealed Pokémon Mega Festa 2026 Magikarp promo card. If you have questions about the card, you can post in this thread. **🐟 How much does this card cost?** This is a FREE promotional card. **🐟 Is this a Korea-exclusive card?** Yes. However, the Pokémon Company might reprint the card in other languages without the stamp. 🤷♂️ They never did this with the Metamong Ditto promo, so my expectation is that this will remain Korea-exclusive artwork. **🐟 How do I get this card?** You can participate in the Pokémon Go Mega Festa 2026 stamp rally event. This is an in-person event with a virtual Pokémon GO challenge. In the game, you must collect 3 stamps, then verify everything with an employee. (There's likely going to be a long line.) **🐟 When is the event? When can I get the card?** The event will run between May 1st, 2026, and May 31st, 2026. You can get 1 card during this time, but in-person, only. **🐟 Where will this event take place?** The event will be in Seoul Forest, which is in the Seongsu area of Seoul, South Korea. **🐟 Is this event free?** Yes. **🐟 How many cards can you get?** They will validate your Pokémon GO account and check your personal identity (read more, below) to make sure that people can only receive 1 card per person. Even if you have multiple accounts, you will still only get 1 card. Sharing Pokémon GO accounts is also not allowed. **🐟 Can foreigners get this card? How? Will foreigners be restricted?** Yes, from what we know, foreigners can get this card at the event. However, there could be some restrictions, so please read carefully: I suggest **bringing a passport** to prove your identity. If quantities run low, I could imagine that they would close the event off to only people living in Korea, meaning Korean natives and foreigners with **valid ARC**'s, only. If you are a foreigner, I suggest also bringing your **ARC**. However, in the past, there have been events where the staff have discriminated against foreigners, even if they brought their **ARC**. Personally, I'll be quite angry if they do this, again. Another thing that they might do is use a service for identity verification that requires something like an **authenticated Kakao ID**, for the Ditto promos, they did require some people to sign up for a service that required people to have access to online authentication services, such as **PASS**. If you live in Korea, you're very likely familiar with this kind of system, so you should be OK, just make sure you have your phone charged up since these verification systems require a **valid Korean phone** number that is tied to your passport. If you have a **Korean driver's license**, I highly suggest you bring this, as well. If you are worried about being turned away, show it before you show your ARC. When it comes to US military personal, I'm 100% certain that your SOFA ID will not work. You are able to register your alien status through your local immigration office to get an ARC, so I would suggest talking to someone on your base about how to start that process. (It takes several weeks to process.) **🐟 Will they run out of cards?** I don't expect them to ever run out of cards for this event. I don't think there was any day during the Metamong Project Ditto event where they ran out of cards. However, it's possible that they might. In that case, you'd have to return the next day or a different day. **🐟 I don't speak Korean. Is that okay?** Yeah, probably. The employees can sometimes speak English and the process should be so easy that you don't need to speak much. If you have any questions, you can reply in this thread and maybe get some help, here. **🐟 Can I bulk order 1,000 of these cards?** Not in this group. We have updated our rules regarding scalping, considering how abysmal the Meta
